Acrtic Temps

I wish I could say that I was joking.

"It's going to be in the sixties... dress in layers."

Only in Florida...

hey hey HEY hey now hey....

I used to be one of those people. (though now I look at the temp and if it's over 39 I don't even bother with sweatpants on the way to the gym in the morning.)

And you have to admit, cold in Florida is way colder that cold somewhere else. It's all the the humidity that gets breathed in and soaks your innards.

Besides, we can't all be international businessmen constantly on the go like you...

dude, we're at 25 degrees here right now, it's a heat wave!

How can we tell who the snow birds are if we don't dress warm?

Posted by: vw bug at March 4, 2007 01:56 PM

Dress in layers of what? Tissue? My goodness, I scream at the wife if she turns the heat above 65 degrees when it is below freezing out side. I start sweating and gnawing on the walls. I can't stand the heat, and probably never will get used to it no matter where I live.

Plenty of humidity year round in Wisconsin, that is why I run the air con in the car year round. It also keeps the windshield from fogging up in the winter. In the cold you can dress in layers. In the heat, you can't take off your birthday suit to get cooler. That is as far as you can go!

When I lived in Southern California one of our favorite winter sports was to look at the weather reports around the country and laugh at all the people shoveling snow.

Maybe I should head down there and bring the 30-50 degree temps with me. It seems to happen whenever I go down there...

T1G~your blood is still thick as maple syrup.Once it thins you'll notice a difference in the weather. Bad side is once you returned north you'd freeze. Better to keep your thick blood and think of those layering as a new form of entertainment...oh you already do :-)

ohferpetessake... here we go again!

It was 47 here last night (Daytona)... and, that is COLD.

...and, what RSM said.

you do make me chuckle, though...:)

47 is still light jacket weather. I don't bust out the winter coat until it's under freezing. We CAMP in 47 degree weather.

I don't switch from shorts to jeans until it's below 50.
