The Chill of Fall
The chill in the air.... most excellent.
I had to get up this morning, because I was shivering, and put a second blanket on the bed. It was 56o in the house! Almost time to shut the windows.
Yes, I could have turned off the fan, and that may have helped. But then, being an incredibly light sleeper, I'd hear all the outside noises. Not to mention the footsteps.

My wife gets mad because I had the bedroom windows open last night and she said she froze to death.
Maybe it's time for more than a sheet and a comforter :p
Posted by: BloodSpite at September 30, 2005 09:17 AMWe never close our windows all the way. If it is cold and windy, we may leave them open a smaller amount. Since the Hubster and I started sharing a bed (dear lord - was it really 23 years ago!?), the windows in our bedroom stay open at all times. That includes Denver and Idaho, mind you! Of course, a nice warm waterbed helps deal with the chill ;-)

Posted by: livey at September 30, 2005 01:54 PMBurrr, cold weather. You can have it. Anything below 70 is too cold.

I had the fan AND a light blanket. PERFECT for sleeping. Something is just wrong with that picture!!!
