Knock Down Power

My youngest bro sent me this clip of a .557 Tyrannosaur rifle being fired. (Yeah, yeah, yeah... I'm aware that this has probably been posted on other blogs. I'm just way behind...)


This is not what is meant by "knock down power"...

BTW, I am aware that most of the flailing on the vid is because of improper shooting stances. Some of these guys look like they've only fired a .22, if anything. Pardon the pun, but what I've gotten a kick out of is watching the recoil through the shoulder... even on the last shooter. That's some serious power.

Here's the way it's done.

Except for the last guy. And it seems that this was all shot at the same time, so did these people not know to expect the recoil? And who the hell are all the ragheads?

Mark, my guess is that those guys are Saudis. Saudi=money, and from what I understand, those rifles are big ching.

... no thanks..... my cut-down Remington mountain .280 kicks like a blue mule... and that is plenty of gun for me..... anything bigger than a .308 seems like just a waste.....

Only the last guy looked like he knew how to shoot. It's an elephant gun, it's meant to bring down the big old beasties in Africa. For where I plan on going, anything bigger then a .30-06 is just insane.
