Zip
This was the first movie I ever saw in a Theater. I'll never forget seeing that scene bigger than life.
I sang that song for YEARS! Drove Mama nuts!
Thanks for this. What a great memory.
Oh, and have a Zipity Do Da Day!!!!
Posted by: Tammi at August 3, 2007 08:02 AMSo do we get to celebrate something??
Posted by: Richmond at August 3, 2007 09:37 AMWhat I would not pay to see you walking through the valley skip in your step, with butterflies and bluebirds about!
Oh and don't forget the hat!
Posted by: armywifetoddlermom at August 3, 2007 09:45 AMThanks for the trip down memory lane :)
Posted by: hammer at August 3, 2007 10:10 AMOh how I loved Uncle Remus. It was my first movie as well. I'm ancient compared to Tammi, so you know it's an old movie. The greatest impact for me was when he died. Seems I cried for ages.

whoa... flashback to childhood.
Loverly! thanks, T1G.
Loved the movie. Still sing the song occassionally to my grandtyke. But he doesn't like it as much as I do. He prefers Be bop a lou-a, a bing bang boom...
