Football Sacrilege
Why would a Bears fan choose the Packers to win a game... especially last night's game? That's damn near blasphemy. However, it involves quite a bit of respect for their QB, Brett Favre, and his ability to change the course of a game. USUALLY for the good of his team. Never again...
Packers over the Ravens? Should be a cakewalk... not. I was just a bit off thinking that. Baltimore barely squeaked past Green Bay, 48 - 3. It's a sad, sad day, when a Bears fan says that the Packers let him down. Jackasses.
Now Ogre's in the lead in our Pick'em Pool.
Posted by That 1 Guy at December 20, 2005 03:03 PMHey, just two weeks ago I was in the lead. There are two weeks left. Changes could happen!
Posted by: Contagion at December 20, 2005 03:24 PMSon, I could've told you. I really could've. I love BF, but damn. The cupboard on that team is bare. He can't do it all on his own without "forcing" some things when trying to be the competitive spirit that he is. I'd be suprised if he comes back for next year, but if he does, at this point, I'm not sure he wouldn't have to work to get the #1 spot. It sucks 'cause he's a damned good QB, and you hate to see 'em struggle like he did last night.
Posted by: RedNeck at December 20, 2005 09:02 PMHated that game.
The one ray of sunshine I've clung to during this miserable season was that the Pack never got out-and-out slaughtered. They were always "in it" until the end.
They were out in the 1st quarter this time. I put the "L" next to the game on the schedule before halftime.
